PLAINVIEW, NY — A man was arrested in Plainview after police said he held a woman against her will in a car. The 19-year-old victim called police early Saturday and gave a description of the car she was in.

Officers pulled over a black Honda on the Long Island Expressway near Exit 48 and arrested Pollak Rahman, 20, of 32nd Avenue in East Elmhurst, around 5:30 a.m. Saturday, police said. He was charged with 2nd-degree unlawful imprisonment, driving under the influence of alcohol while being underage, and multiple vehicle and traffic law violations.

No one was hurt.

Rahman was expected to appear in 1st District Court on Sunday in Hempstead.
