39-Year-Old Shot Dead Near Prospect Park, Cops Say
The man was found shot multiple times on Beekman Place in Prospect Lefferts Gardens, police said.
BROOKLYN, NY — A man was shot dead just a block from Prospect Park on Sunday, according to police.
Cops found the 39-year-old man shot in the neck and chest on Beekman Place near Flatbush Avenue around 8:18 p.m., according to police. He was pronounced dead at Kings County Hospital.
Investigators believe the 39-year-old was in a dispute with another man who took out a gun and shot him before fleeing, according to police.
