Prospect Park's Summer Soiree and Other Wednesday Night Happenings
Plus trivia at 706 (FKA Minor Arcana) and singer-songwriter night at The Way Station.

Good afternoon, Prospect Heights. Here’s a look at what’s happening this evening* in Prospect Heights:
- Chris Carpenter + Helen Denham + AK + Bryan Wade + Jefferson Gizzard are playing at The Way Station tonight. Show starts at 7. As usual, there's no cover.
- If you're more in the mood for a trivia night, tonight is Trivia Wednesdays at 706, the bar that replaced Minor Arcana on Washington. It's a nice vibe. Check it out.
Â
- The Prospect Park Alliance is throwing its 11th annual Summer Soiree Wednesday evening to benefit its work in Prospect Park. Featuring performances by Tamaryn and DJ Kilo Kish, plus cocktails, snacks, a silent auction and "other surprises." Festivities begin at 7 p.m. at the Prospect Park Boathouse and go until 10:30.Â
- Also a heads up that tomorrow there's Brewshop 101: Homebrewing Essentials, for all who have been meaning to join the DIY movement. We're telling you now because it's something you'd want to plan in advance.
- Make sure you grab a Tues/Friday spot for tomorrow because alternate side parking rules are in effect for the rest of the month.Â
