- The heat is gone. Really gone, with today's high expected to be a mere 73-degrees. You might want to get back out your long pants, and maybe even a light jacket. But only take out one pair, because the heat is slated to return on Friday. 

- Celebrate Brooklyn! returns to Prospect Park with BEBE WINANS / ALICIA OLATUJABEBE WINANS and ALICIA OLATUJA.

- Tonight at The Way Station it's American music night with a line-up of: Scott Krokoff + Po' Boy Reinhart & Ukelele Ed +Dogbottom Boys + Smith and 9th Ward + The Prospect Jug Peddlers. Show starts at 7. 

- Did you see the story about the man who was beaten with a hammer in a random attack in Bed-Stuy? The victim was Fort Greene musician Dru Barnes who lost an eye in the attack. There's an online fundraiser to help him with recovery costs.

- Make sure to move the car because alternate side parking rules are in effect for the rest of the month.
