Brooklyn Born Chamber of Commerce Leader To Be Featured In Book
A Call To Black Authors To Pen Their Stories In Upcoming Anthology. Chamber leader believes that telling their story liberates others!

Brooklyn, NY – Brooklyn born chamber president at the helm of New York State’s largest African American chamber of commerce joins the call for black men to pen their stories in upcoming anthology. Phil Andrews is the President of the Long Island African American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. was raised in Marcy Housing Development and is a graduate of the prestigious high school Brooklyn Technical High School.
The Collaborative Experience is currently compiling a collection stories by African American male authors entitled, “Our Stories Our Voices: Black Men Speak Their Truth” (OSOV), which is set to debut in February 2020 for Black History Month. The book is going to be a treasure chest of life-changing stories written by African-American men who are driven to change the narrative of black males in America. Readers can expect to be uplifted and encouraged by stories of faith, hope and answered prayers, as contributors share how they overcame their tragedies and turned them into triumphs.

Contributors to this anthology represent black men from all walks of life. They vary in age, cultural backgrounds and reside in cities across the United States. The co-authors are penning experiences about life, fatherhood, friendships, relationships business and social issues as well as negative perceptions that they’ve had to face in order to survive in today’s society. Readers will be able to relate to the stories shared in the anthology and will understand that they’re not alone in their life challenges.

In the last five years the Collaborative Experience Founders, Julia D. Shaw and Toni Coleman Brown published four Amazon bestselling book anthologies. Co-Authors who participate in their book anthologies receive a wide range of exposure including radio interviews, speaking engagements, and are featured during the book launch parties and promotional events.
