A little more Baduizm is in store for Brooklynites.
After selling out tickets for its first show with Grammy-winning artist Erykah Badu, the Brooklyn Philharmonic has announced it is adding a second performance. Artist in Residence Yasiin Bey (aka Mos Def) will also perform new arrangements.
Tickets ($35-$125) to the second concert—Sunday, June 9 at the Brooklyn Academy of Music—directly benefits the orchestra and will go on sale through the BAM box office on May 20. Â
"We are delighted with the tremendous response to the landmark collaboration between Erykah, Yasiin and the Brooklyn Phil," said orchestra board chair Jack W. Rainey in a release.Â
