Cops Search For Suspect Who Tore Down Pride Flag In Crown Heights

The NYPD's Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating the incident, which happened during Pride Month on Utica Avenue.

CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — Cops are searching for someone who ripped down a rainbow flag during Pride Month in Brooklyn.

The suspect was caught on surveillance video yanking down the rainbow flag from a business at Utica Avenue near Pacific Street around 6 p.m. on June 21, according to police.

The NYPD's Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating the incident. The person is wanted on criminal mischief charges, police said.
