Don't Miss: Children's Author Reading at Prospect Park Zoo

Already at the Prospect Park Zoo you've got adorable sheep, The Meerkat Clan and Herbie the 18-pound rabbit. 

But today you've also got a real live author, who will read from her latest work.

Laura Hulbert will read Who Has These Feet? and Who Has This Tail? at 1 p.m. at the Discovery Center (which also hosts several awesome creative play areas in the renovated play space). 

After the readings, the kids will have a chance to participate in interactive activities, as they will be asked to pair specific animal adaptations to their appropriate habitat in a series of matching games that cover the material found in Hulbert’s books. 

Cost is free with zoo admission of $8, $5 kids 3 and older, $6 senior citizens.
