BROOKLYN, NY — Police are asking the public's help to find a woman who attacked someone in a possible hate crime at a Brooklyn pizzeria last week, according to the NYPD.

The woman walked into Not Ray's Pizza on Fulton Street around 5:20 p.m. on Friday just as a 36-year-old woman was trying to leave the pizzeria, police said.

The woman walking in grabbed a shaker of black pepper and began shaking pepper at the 36-year-old while making anti-Black and anti-immigrant statements, police said.

She then left on foot, police said.

The incident is being investigated by the NYPD Hate Crimes Task Force, police said. The woman is being sought on aggravated harassment charges.

The 36-year-old was not injured during the incident, police said.
