Hit-And-Run Driver Kills Crown Heights Man, Police Say
Kassim Matthews, 30, was fatally struck by a grey sedan on Albany Avenue Sunday morning, police said.
CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — A hit-and-run driver slammed into a Crown Heights man then sped away, leaving his victim to die, police said.
A grey sedan rammed into Kassim Matthews, 30, and several cars parked on Albany Avenue and Park Place about 5:30 a.m. Sunday morning, said police.
Emergency responders rushed Matthews, who suffered head and body injuries, to Interfaith Medical Center where he later died, police.

The sedan driver had not been arrested as of Monday morning and the NYPD will continue to investigate.
