Homeless Man Hit Crossing Street In Brooklyn Dies Weeks Later: PD

BROOKLYN, NY — A homeless man who was struck in a Brooklyn hit-and-run in February has died, police said Friday.

Michael Williams, 45, was hit by an unknown vehicle when he was crossing Atlantic Avenue near Bedford Avenue just after 11 p.m. on Feb. 17, according to police. The vehicle kept driving.

Emergency responders found Williams lying in the middle of the street with head and body trauma. He was taken to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on April 5, police said.

There were no arrests as of Friday.
