Location Change For Laurie Cumbo's Bedford Union Armory Meeting
The meeting on the Armory is still taking place Feb. 2, but it's been moved across the street.
CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — The location of Councilwoman Laurie Cumbo's meeting updating the community on development plans for the Bedford Union Armory has been moved. The meeting will still take place at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 2, but it will now take place in the Founders Auditorium at Medgar Evers College, located at 1650 Bedford Ave.
Here's a Patch report on a town hall Assemblywoman Diana Richardson hosted on the Armory last November. In late January, Richardson, State Senator Jesse Hamilton, Congresswoman Yvette Clarke and Assemblyman Walter T. Mosely filed a FOIA request asking for additional financial details to be released concerning the development proposal.
