Man Intentionally Runs Over Bus Driver In BK Hit-And-Run: Cops

BROOKLYN, NY — Cops are searching for a man who intentionally mowed down a school bus driver last week in Brooklyn, according to police.

The man, driving a gray Subaru, was caught on video running over the 44-year-old female driver after a dispute at a red light at the corner of Hinsdale Street and Linden Boulevard in East New York around 5:15 p.m. on Friday, according to police and video.

He can be seen on video getting out of his car and walking to the front of the bus to confront the driver before getting back in and driving across a median and into the woman to drive away.

Pix 11 reports that the man became angry when the school bus stopped as it approached a light that was turning red.

The woman was taken to Brookdale Hospital, where she is in critical but stable condition, police said.

Police said the man is approximately 5'7" tall, weighs 155 pounds and has a thin build. He was last seen wearing a light colored jacket, a green baseball cap, blue jeans and sneakers.

His car, a 2020 gray Subaru CTK, has a New York state license plate with the number: #JKE-6813.
