PROSPECT HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — A federal prosecutor eating outside in Prospect Heights and a pedestrian were hit by stray bullets when someone opened fire on the street on Friday, according to officials and reports.

The shooting broke out just after 9 p.m. outside of Muse Thai restaurant on Washington Avenue, according to police.

A woman, identified by the Daily News as Assistant U.S. Attorney Mollie Bracewell, was grazed by a bullet in the face and taken to the hospital in stable condition, police said.

Another man, who the News said had been walking by with his wife, was shot in the foot, police said. He was also taken to the hospital in stable condition.

After a chase, cops arrested a 17-year-old shortly after the shooting, police said.

Officials told the News that the teenager was found with a gun on him in a nearby building but that it was not yet determined whether he was the shooter. He has been charged with criminal possession of a weapon, according to the NYPD.
