Man Goes Ballistic Over Parking Ticket
A 31-year-old man lost it after a customer he was helping received a ticket for double parking on Washington Avenue while he helped her load soil into her car.
As the man was helping the woman with her purchase, the agent gave the car a ticket. The man became "irate and threw a plastic potted plant at the agent's auto." He told the agent, "If you didn't live un this area you would have been shot," adding, "If you come around here and write on my car, I will put a bullet in your head."

He was charged with obstruction of the public administration of duties. The crime took place near the corner of Dean Street and Washington Avenue at about 2:30 p.m. on June 12.
Double Bike Theft

A 49-year-old woman reported that someone stole two bicycles, worth a total of $1,500 from the basement of her building on Prospect Place between Vanderbilt and Underhill between June 27 and 28. It doesn't appear that the basement was broken into but is accessible to everyone in the building The report didn't note whether the bike was locked. Â
Subway Wallet Lift
A 26-year-old woman reported that someone stole her wallet from her purse while she was on a Brooklyn-bound No. 4 train. The woman was on the train on May 22, when, shortly after 6 p.m. she realized that her purse was unzipped and her wallet missing. The thief made off with about $400 worth of property including a Burberry wallet, cash and several bank cards, one of which was used to make withdraw money from two ATMs. Â
iPhone Snatch
A 42-year-old woman had her iPhone snatched as she was walking on Sterling Place between Washington and Classon.
At about 7:15 p.m. on April 16, someone came up to her from behind and grabbed her white iPhone 4. She ran after him but lost sight of him. A witness told cops she saw the thief get into a green minivan and drive off.Â
