PROSPECT HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — A popular taco truck has found its first permanent home in Prospect Heights, set to open next month, Eater reports.

King David Tacos, which has run carts at Grand Army Plaza and in Manhattan, will open its brick-and-mortar location on May 11 on Bergen Street, the outlet reports.

The Austin-style breakfast tacos have been feeding New Yorkers since 2015 shortly after founder Liz Solomon Dwyer moved to the city from Texas.

“Just to be able to sit on a patio with a coffee and queso and breakfast tacos, that is my dream,” she told Eater.

The 611 Bergen St. spot, once used as a Chinese herb packaging warehouse, will include a 4,000-square-foot kitchen, a small retail space and a 1,200-square-foot patio with awnings and heaters, Soloman Dwyer said.
