School Safety Agent Charged For Crown Heights Attack, Cops Say

An NYPD school safety agent faces criminal charges for an assault in Crown Heights Sunday morning, police said.

CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — A school safety agent faces assault charges for attacking her girlfriend Sunday morning, according to police and reports.

Christelle Victor, 23, stands accused of shoving and dragging a woman by the hair during a fight in a Crown Heights apartment just before 4:50 a.m., according to police.

The New York Post identified the woman as Victor's girlfriend, but the NYPD could not confirm.

School Safety Agents provide security in the New York City public schools — patrolling building, operating scanners, checking IDs and escorting visitors on and off the premises — and typically earn between $32,000 and $47,000 a year, city records show.

Police did not release the name of the school where Victor worked and more information about her arraignment was not immediately available.
