BROOKLYN, NY — Forget everything you know about stadium food — a new restaurant on its way to the Barclays Center plans to transport premium fans to a luxurious dinner party steps from the game.

The new "Crown Club," slated to debut in time for the 2021-22 basketball season, will bring a grandly-decorated lounge, bar, restaurant and private dining room to the venue.

“Without qualification, this is going to be one of the most beautiful spaces in the city,” designer Ken Fulk said. “The fact that it’s inside an arena adds to the mysterious sense of being invited to a private grand residence for an unforgettable evening.”

The 7,700-square-foot courtside lounge will be available to premium ticket holders, who can also stock up on snacks at a pantry inside the space. It is a collaboration between restaurant company Major Food Group and BSE Global, the company that manages the Barclays Center.

Fulk — who has designed restaurants for MFG like Carbone in Miami — plans to outfit the club with velvet furnishings, antique mirrors, parquet floors and a "richly residential array of textures and fabrics," according to a press release.

“New York has historically set the bar for premier culinary experiences and we see Crown Club as our opportunity to bring the same standard to sports and entertainment events,” BSE CEO John Abbamondi said. “This new space will not only elevate the game day experience for guests at Barclays Center, but we believe it will ultimately redefine how our industry has traditionally thought about courtside clubs as a whole.”
