Shuttered BK Favorite Dough Doughnuts To Open In Prospect Heights
The doughnut shop, which closed its Bed-Stuy outpost last year, will open in the former Joyce Bakeshop space on Vanderbilt, Eater reports.

PROSPECT HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — A popular doughnut shop is making its Brooklyn return with an outpost in Prospect Heights, according to Eater.
Dough Doughnuts co-owner Steve Klein told the outlet this week that he plans to open a new location at 646 Vanderbilt Ave., where Joyce Bakeshop stood until it closed last year.
The new shop will be the first in Brooklyn for Dough Doughnuts since its Bed-Stuy location closed last year. It is expected to open this spring, according to Dough's website.

Klein said the business has held on since then through its Manhattan locations and delivery.
“We survived but it hasn’t been easy,” he told Eater. “We have a loyal following to thank.”
The Prospect Heights spot will be followed by an Astoria and Rockefeller Center location for Dough Doughnuts.
