Teen Charged With Manslaughter In Crown Heights Homicide: Cops
Raynaldo Lewis, 18, was charged this week after accidentally shooting his friend Memorial Day weekend, according to police and reports.

CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — An 18-year-old has been charged with manslaughter in the death of a 22-year-old who was shot in Crown Heights, according to police.
Raynaldo Lewis, from Brownsville, was charged Monday, nearly a month after police found Hakeem Norman shot in the neck inside an apartment on Pacific Street, police said.
Norman was taken to Interfaith Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries two days later, on Memorial Day, police said.

Police sources told the Daily News that Lewis, a friend of Norman's, had been toying with a gun in Norman's apartment when a round was fired, according to the outlet. Lewis had been staying with Norman after being thrown out of his mom's home, family told the News.
