Track Fire At Barclays Center Station Delays 4 And 5 Trains: MTA
The fire broke out around 11:30 a.m., according to transit officials.

BROOKLYN, NY — A track fire broke out Monday morning at Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center station, according to MTA officials.
MTA officials warned around 11:30 a.m. that reports of smoke at the transit hub was delaying northbound 4 and 5 trains.
The fire was extinguished by the FDNY about 15 minutes later, according to the agency.

They said straphangers should still expect longer waits for northbound trains from the station. One 5 train was rerouted during the incident.
FDNY officials said there were no injuries from the fire, which was due to "rubbish" on the tracks.
