Indie, Rockabilly, Trivia and Stand-Up — It's Tuesday in Prospect Heights
Because it's too hot to get back on the subway.

Good morning Prospect Heights. Here's what's going on in the neighborhood.
- First it was a cafe, then a non-profit playspace, then the cheese shop. Now Cafe Zelda's Michael De Zayas is opening a bookshop on Franklin Avenue. Soon we may have to rename the block Little Zelda Place ...
- At LaunchPad tonight there's the Dolly Presley Fundraising Party, which is raising money for an independent film made, apparently, by one of the Slap Dash curators. A good cause, yes. Plus, your $10 gets beer from Lagunitas, food by ConsumeLove, and "an epic performance by Dolly Presley," they promise.
- The Way Station has a line-up of indie and rockabilly tonight with performances by Sunshine Nights + Ruby Rae + Flight Feathers The Staggers. Show starts at 9.
- If you prefer your beer with trivia, it's Trivia Tuesdays at The Saint Catherine.
- Or, for a good laugh, head to Eve's for a night of Stand Up Comedy.
- Or, jump on the DIY train in one of the most pleasurable ways we can imagine. Take the Brewshop 101: Homebrewing Essentials class at Bitter & Esters tonight. Yeah, the $55 price is hefty, but think of all the money you'll save once you start brewing on your own.
- Do make sure to move the car, because alternate side is in effect all week.
