Experience some popular fragrances from the disco era and learn about their connections to Studio 54: Night Magic in a multisensory talk led by Jessica Murphy, fragrance culture writer, educator, and Manager of Visitor Experience at the Brooklyn Museum. We’ll ship a selection of perfumes to your door, so you can sniff along as you learn the stories of six scents, from the 1978 party celebrating the launch of Yves Saint Laurent’s Opium to the Studio 54 regulars who became the celebrity faces of other perfumes. The talk includes an illustrated presentation about the scents and styles of Studio 54.

Tickets are $40 and include a set of samples of vintage perfumes discussed in the talk, as well as a gift of retro scent samples from DSH Perfumes. Member tickets are $35. Not a Member? Join today!
Registration will close on September 23, to allow time to mail sample sets. Samples will be mailed to the shipping address entered when you place your ticket order. Prices include shipping costs. Refunds will not be issued for this event.
