What Up, Brooklyn! Here Are Your Columbus Day Weekend Street Closures

I think we can all agree that Columbus Day is B.S. at this point, right, Brooklyn?

At the same time, we are a borough that never misses a chance to party in the streets, and this three-day weekend promises the same laundry list of street closures that comes with any holiday, no matter how B.S.

Here are the Brooklyn streets to A) flock to with your rosé water bottles or B) avoid like plague, depending on your weekend persuasion.

PANAMANIAN INDEPENDENCE DAY PARADE AND FESTIVAL

• 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  

• Formation: Bergen Street between Bedford and Franklin Avenue

• Route: Franklin Avenue between Bergen Street and President Street

• Dispersal: President Street between Franklin Avenue and Classon Avenue

• Festival: Classon Avenue between Union Street and Eastern Parkway

• Closure: Same as location

NORTH BROOKLYN DEVELOPMENT CORP. MANHATTAN AVENUE FESTIVAL

• 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  

• Location: Bedford Avenue between North 3rd Street and North 12th Street

• Closure: Same as location

ROCK N ROLL BROOKLYN HALF MARATHON

• 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.
  

• Route: Eastern Parkway between Flatbush Avenue and Albany Avenue; Flatbush Avenue between Empire Boulevard and Grand Army Plaza; Grand Army Plaza Oval (Entire Circle); Ocean Avenue between Flatbush Avenue and Parkside Avenue; Parkside Avenue between Ocean Avenue and Park Circle

• Route through Prospect Park: West Drive between East Drive and Center Drive; South Lake Drive between West Lake Drive and East Lake Drive; East Drive between South Lake Drive and West Drive; Center Drive between East Drive and West Drive

• Route (continued): Park Circle between South Lake Drive and Ocean Parkway Entrance Ramp; Ocean Parkway between Ocean Parkway Entrance Ramp and Avenue M

• Route: 18th Avenue between 63rd Street and Benson Avenue

• Dispersal: 18th Avenue between Benson Avenue and Bath Avenue
