Howard Beach

When: Memorial Day, 11 a.m.
Where: Coleman Square, at 159th Avenue and 103rd Street.

Little Neck-Douglaston Parade
The Little Neck-Douglaston parade was founded in 1927 by American Legion Post #103. This year's parade starts at 2 p.m. and runs along Northern Boulevard from Jayson Avenue to 245th Street. There will be free refreshments.
The parade's grand marshal is U.S. Merchant Marine Academy Superintendent Rear Admiral Jack Buono. The parade will also honor American Legion Post #103 Commander Sebastian D'Agostino and Little Neck resident Mary (Marie) Stock.
When: Memorial Day, 2 p.m.
Where: Northern Boulevard from Jayson Avenue to 245th Street.
Laurelton Parade
When: Memorial Day, 9 a.m.
Where: From Merrick and Francis Lewis Boulevards to Veterans Memorial Triangle at 225th Street and North Conduit Avenue.
Ridgewood-Glendale
The parade, sponsored by the Allied Veterans Committee of Ridgewood and Glendale, ends at Ridgewood Memorial Triangle with a ceremony.
When: Memorial Day, 11 a.m.
Where: Myrtle Avenue between Cypress Avenue and Cooper Avenue.
Rockaway Beach Memorial Day Parade
When: 11:30 a.m.
Where: Beach Channel Drive between Beach 130th Street and Beach 129th Street
Rosedale
Grand marshals are U.S. Army combat medic Derrick DeFlorimonte and 149th Avenue Block Association President Joyce Lawrence. The event includes a memorial service at Veterans & Vietnam Memorial Squares.
When: Memorial Day, 11:15 a.m.
Where: 243rd Street and Mayda Road
Whitestone
Grand marshal is U.S. Army veteran John McHugh Sr., who participated in D-Day World War II.
When: Memorial Day, noon.
Where: 149th Street and 15th Drive.
