Wild Edibles of Queens Farm
Neighborhood:
Little Neck
What: Explore the farm museum grounds and discover the wide variety of wild edibles in its woodlands, pollinator gardens and pathway edges with the help of a plant expert. Learn to safely identify, harvest and enjoy seasonal ingredients that grow in nature. Be sure to bring your walking shoes, a water bottle and a notebook or camera if you’d like to document your experience.
Where: Queens County Farm Museum, 73-50 Little Neck Parkway
When: Saturday at 10 a.m.

Bushwig 2018
Neighborhood:
Maspeth
What: A two-day festival featuring drag performances from more than 150 performers, live music, DJs, dancing, shopping, food, drinks and more. Click here for the full lineup.

When: The fun begins Saturday and Sunday at 1 p.m.

QUIP: Queens United International Party
Neighborhood:
Sunnyside
What: A festival that celebrates the “diverse musical talents” of Queens musicians with live performances, plus food trucks, beer and kids’ crafts. Admission is free, with a $10 suggested donation. Tickets are free for children under 12.
Where: Sunnyside Gardens Park, 39th Avenue between 48th and 50th streets
When: Saturday at 3 p.m.

QWNS Connect Wine Tasting
Neighborhood: Long Island City
