Man Struck By Train Near Woodside LIRR Station: Officials

WOODSIDE, NY — A man was struck by a train by the Woodside LIRR station on Wednesday afternoon, a spokesperson for the agency said.

The man was rushed to Elmhurst Hospital, but his condition is unknown, the LIRR spokesperson said. It's unclear how he got on the tracks.

The LIRR canceled at least two scheduled trains and others experienced delays, according to the agency's social media posts.
