Marine Parkway Bridge To Close For Overnight Work, MTA Says
Drivers will have to use the Cross Bay Veterans Memorial Bridge between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. for a week starting April 22.

ROXBURY, QUEENS — Drivers, take note. The Marine Parkway-Gil Hodges Memorial Bridge will be closed overnight for a week starting April 22, the MTA announced.
The Marine Parkway-Gil Hodges Memorial Bridge, which connects Roxbury in Queens to south Brooklyn, will close to traffic between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. from April 22 to May 1 for maintenance. The MTA will reroute the Q35 bus, which normally uses the bridge, during that time.
The closure will allow workers to do mechanical maintenance work on the bridge and remove protective shielding that was part of the upgrade work on the bridge's left mechanism.
