Italian Charities Of America Flea Market

Neighborhood: Elmhurst

What: Bask in the sun at this monthly flee market filled with bargains, unique finds and homemade treasures. For more information or to set up your own booth at the market, call 718-478-3101. Otherwise, just head on over to browse the market while enjoying the food and refreshments available for purchase.

NYC Phagwah Holi Parade 2018

Neighborhood: South Richmond Hill

What: Otherwise known as the festival of colors, this cultural celebration of spring's arrival is New York's longest running Phagwah Holi parade. There will be live bands and drums joining in on the fun, followed by an afterparty at Smokey Oval Park.

Where: Phil "Scooter" Rizzuto Park, 95 Avenue and 125th Street

When: Saturday, April 14, 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.


Murder Mystery Dinner

Neighborhood: Bayside

What: Join the Bayside Historical Society for a real-life game of clue featuring live actors as you try to figure out "whodunnit." Tickets cost $75 for BHS members - $80 for nonmembers - and include a dinner of appetizers, a main course, dessert and wine.

Where: Bayside Historical Society, 208 Totten Ave.

When: Saturday, April 14, 7 - 10 p.m.


Pete the Cat: The Musical

Neighborhood: Jamaica

What: Rock out with Pete the Cat at this family-friendly musical, which follows the unlikely friendship of a stray cat and his newfound owners on an adventure to Paris and back. Tickets are $10 or $5 for children.

Where: Jamaica Performing Arts Center, 153-10 Jamaica Ave.

When: Saturday, April 14, at 2 p.m.


Maple Grove Cemetery Walking Tour

Neighborhood: Jamaica

What: Join Maple Grove for an informative tour of the cemetery's Victorian sections, where a tour guide will take you back in time to visit the grave sites and tell the stories of some of its most historical residents.

Where: Victorian Admin Building at Maple Grove Cemetery, 83-15 Kew Gardens Road

When: Saturday, April 14, 2 - 2:30 p.m.


Myrtle Ave Spring Block Party

Neighborhood: Ridgewood

What: Ring in the warm weather with a day of drinks, food, music and dancing at the Ridgewood Ale House's spring bock party.

Where: The Ridgewood Ale House, 5738 Myrtle Ave.

When: Sunday, April 15, noon - 6 p.m.


Queens Craft Brigade

Neighborhood: Astoria

What: Shop from dozens of the borough's best crafters for artwork, fashion, food, jewelry and more at this community event.

Where: Rocco Moretto Post, 31-35 41st St.

When: Sunday, April 15, noon - 5 p.m.


JFK Rotary Club's 5K Runway Run

Neighborhood: Jamaica

What: Run the JFK Airport runway with your friends, family and colleagues at this annual Rotary Club 5K. Take a bus to the starting line, but be prepared to go through airport security first. Fanny packs, strollers and cameras are not allowed, but cell phones with cameras are okay. All who register will go home with a free T-shirt and medals will be awarded to winners in each age group. Cost to register is $30 per person.

When: Sunday, April 15, 9 a.m. - noon
