St. Francis Prep Partners with Best-Selling Test Prep Author
St. Francis Preparatory high school partners with Curvebreakers Test Prep's Nick LaPoma, whose book recently debuted as a #1 new release.

Nicholas LaPoma, president of Curvebreakers Test Prep in Garden City, released his second book on September 25, 2020. His book titled, “A New Approach to Deconstruct and Destroy the SAT,” debuted as the number one new release in Amazon’s SAT and PSAT Test Guides category.
LaPoma capitalized off the success of his first book, “A New Approach to Deconstruct and Destroy the ACT,” by releasing the SAT counterpart of the book series.
“I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to debut as the #1 new release on Amazon with my second book,” says LaPoma. “I credit my awesome clients and the many families we have worked closely with over the years. Without their support and feedback, we wouldn't be at this point. These books are a culmination of experience, expertise, and sweat equity.”

“It was great timing that Anthony from Curvebreakers reached out to us,” said Peter Bosco, a guidance counselor at St. Francis Preparatory. “We were in the market for a test prep partnership, and the friendly team at Curvebreakers was ready to accommodate St. Francis Prep in every way. I am very excited for the mutual benefits this partnership can hold.”
The Curvebreakers brand along with LaPoma’s online persona, Nick the Tutor, have been growing tremendously since his rise to social media fame. The new social media application, TikTok, has allowed him to reach over 20 million views in less than 6 months time.
In spite of the ongoing economic crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic, Curvebreakers managed to build brand loyalty by communicating with clients on a weekly basis and continuing to provide free support and extended classes to make up for lost time. At the height of the lockdown, the company transitioned to online tutoring with ease and now have limited capacity in-person tutoring and practice tests weekly.
LaPoma is clearly making a mark for himself in a post-covid society that has heavily influenced the world of online learning.
