SummerStage Queens Lineup: Free Concerts In 2019
These are the free SummerStage recitals, concerts and dance performances coming to Queens this summer.

QUEENS, NY — The Metropolitan Opera, a flamenco dance company and a steel pan orchestra are coming to Queens this summer as part the city's free SummerStage festival, organizers announced Tuesday.
Parks across Queens will set the stage for nine free music and dance performances this summer, starting with the Metropolitan Opera's summer recital series on June 17 in Socrates Sculpture Park.
The borough's 2019 lineup includes drummer Sheila E., Colombian rock band Aterciopelados, "King of Calypso" Mighty Sparrow, flamenco dance company A Palo Seco and singer-songwriter Avery*Sunshine, who has played in NPR Music's beloved "Tiny Desk" concert series.

CityParks SummerStage is New York City's largest, free outdoor performing arts festival. This year's program kicks off June 1 in Central Park with performances from Emily King, Durand Jones and the Indications.
