Super Bowl Watch Parties In Queens

Watch the big game this Sunday with a beer - or a hot dog-stuffed pizza - in hand at these spots in Queens.

QUEENS, NY -- Whether you're in it for the football, the commercials or Justin Timberlake's half-time show redemption, everyone has a reason to tune into the Super Bowl this Sunday.

The New England Patriots will take on the Philadelphia Eagles at the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis for the Super Bowl LII championship title starting at 6:30 p.m. For those who don't have thousands of dollars to blow on a ticket, there are plenty of fun - not to mention food and booze - filled watch parties happening right here in Queens.

Here's a sampling of bars hosting Super Bowl events this weekend throughout the borough.

Hangar 11 Bar & Grill - Kew Gardens

Event: Chow down on all-you-can-eat wings while watching the big game at this bar's Super Bowl party from 5 - 11:30 p.m. Favorite team not doing so hot? Don't worry, drinks are unlimited, too.

Location: 119-11 Metropolitan Ave.

Cost: $60 per ticket


Bar 43 - Sunnyside

Event: Eat and drink your way through the Super Bowl with $4 shot specials and Bar 43's famed atomic wings at this event from 6:30-10:30 p.m. First, second, third and fourth-down ticket packages are available to reserve food and drink for up to eight people and some even come with a beer tower - whatever that is. If you can't make it out because you got stuck hosting the neighborhood Super Bowl party, don't worry - this bar also delivers.

Location: 4306 43rd St.

Cost: Packages range from $50 for one person to $110 for parties of 6-8


Gantry Plaza State Park - Long Island City

Event: Three Words: Super. Bowl. Brunch. This event combines the two Sunday favorites into a 12-hour party from 2 p.m. to 2 a.m. with an open bar available during the game, which, by the way, you can watch from multiple screens.

Location: 4-09 47th Road

Cost: $45


Q.E.D. Comedy Club - Astoria

Event: Watch puppies face off in a battle of cuteness, and maybe some football, at this comedy club's Super (& Puppy) Bowl Trivia Watch Party. Play a special round of Super Bowl LII-themed trivia from 6 to 10 p.m. while the most important bowl plays in the background - Oh, and the football game will be playing, too.

United Nations Church International of New York - Springfield Gardens

Event: If hitting the bars isn't your thing, head straight to the big game after Sunday service at this church's watch party. Enjoy a day of food, fellowship and fun with United Nations Church International, where morning worship at 10 a.m. is followed by a kickoff party starting at 5 p.m. Don't forget to rep your team's jersey.

Krave It - Bayside

Event: Everyone knows Super Bowls are all about the food, and this Queens eatery takes it to the next level. Krave It is serving up its specialty "Battle of the Pigskins" pizza - packed with hot dogs, bacon chili, Fritos and pig-in-a-blanket crust - all day Sunday. To top it all off, the eatery will be playing the Super Bowl on multiple screens.

DoHa Nightclub - Long Island City

Event: Enjoy specials on wings, pizza, beer buckets, hookah and more while watching the Super Bowl on five flat screen TVs at this nightclub's watch party.

Location: 3834 31st St.

Cost: Free admission with an Eventbrite ticket.


Salt & Bone Smokehouse - Astoria

Event: Celebrate the Super Bowl with a Big Game BBQ party at this pub, where you can watch the game on a projector screen while enjoying $0.25 wings, $10 nachos, $15 pitchers and $5 pickle back shots. Plus, the bar is specifically bringing in extra meat and "more beer than any of you could possibly drink" for the occasion. Sounds like a challenge.
