QUEENS, NY -- With the latest snow from this week's nasty nor'easter out of the way, it's time to get out and enjoy the weekend in Queens, and there are plenty of ways to do it.

Whether you want to celebrate St. Patrick's Day late, hop into Easter festivities early, stretch your running legs at a 5k, or experience a circus as diverse as Queens itself, there's fun to be found for everyone throughout the borough.

Bayside St. Patrick's Day Parade

Neighborhood: Bayside

What: Miss St. Patrick's Day? No problem. Celebrate Irish culture and its heritage at this St. Patrick's Day parade and bring your whole family.

Where: Starts at 39-27 Bell Blvd.

When: Saturday, March 24, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.


UniverSoul Circus

Neighborhood: Jamaica

What: Celebrate the 25-year anniversary of America's top-ranked circus with electrifying performances from across the globe. The Atlanta-based production features fascinating acts from Russia, Trinidad, Mongolia, South Africa, Cuba, China and more. Tickets start at $22.

Where: Roy Wilkins Southern Queens Park, 177-01 Baisley Blvd.

When: Saturday, March 24, at 4 p.m.


Come Together: Music Festival and Label Market

Neighborhood: Long Island City

What: Celebrate local and international music communities with an evening of live performances, films, workshops and panels. This year's event will also include a label market featuring more than 75 independent record labels, expanded live programming and extended hours.

Where: MoMa PS1, 22-25 Jackson Ave.

When: Saturday, March 24, noon - 9 p.m.


Queens Dems + QCYD At March For Our Lives

Neighborhood: Forest Hills

What: Thousands are projected to march the streets of New York City in protest of gun violence. If you don't want to show up to the march alone, meet up with the Queens Dems + Queens County Young Democrats to take the train from Forest Hills into Manhattan together. When: Saturday, March 24, 9:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.


Fantasy Forest Amusement Park Season Opening

Neighborhood: Flushing

What: Kick off the seasonal opening of this amusement park in the heart of Flushing Meadows. The park's family-oriented fun includes rides, classic games, free shows and more. Admission to the park is free, but you can purchase tickets to the rides for $3.50 apiece or buy a $25 unlimited ride wristband.

Where: Flushing Meadows-Corona Park, 111th St. and 55th Ave.

When: Saturday, March 24, 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.


Free Aura Reading Event

Neighborhood: Bayside

What: Find out what energy fields and colors surround your body at this event, where you'll receive a free personalized aura reading and recommendations for exercise and stress relief based on your aura type.

When: Saturday, March 24, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.


Second Annual Easter EGGstravaganza

Neighborhood: Long Island City

What: Grab your bonnets, baskets and little ones and hop on over to City Owlets play cafe for a day of pre-Easter fun. Activities include an Easter egg hunt, photo-ops with the Easter bunny, story time, spring crafts and open-play. There will be three 2-hour sessions throughout the day, and each costs $30.

Where: City Owlets, 10-42 Jackson Ave.

When: Saturday, March 24, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.


QDR Spring Marathon Tune-Up & Community 5K

Neighborhood: Flushing

What: With a good amount of spring marathons coming up, this route through Flushing Meadows Park allows runners to "tune up" their marathon pace. The course is a 5K looped route, and registered runners are expected to complete it six times. Registration costs $20-$40 for the tune-up or $15-$25 for the 5K.

Where: Unisphere, Flushing Meadows-Corona Park

When: Sunday, March 25, 7:30 - 11:30 a.m.
