WATCH: Man Hits 94-Year-Old, Stomps On Glasses In Jackson Heights

The man is caught on tape breaking the 94-year-old man's glasses after knocking them off his face in an argument.

JACKSON HEIGHTS, QUEENS -- Police are searching for a man caught on tape slapping a 94-year-old man across the face during a heated argument in Jackson Heights and stomping his specs on the way out.

The elderly man was standing on his porch on 97 Street at around 12:15 p.m. on May 18 when the perp picked a fight with him from the sidewalk, cops said.

Surveillance footage shows the two argue for nearly a minute before the perp climbs the stairs to get in the man's face. When the man attempts to push him away, the attacker slaps him in the face and sends his glasses flying to the ground.

The perp is then shown bolting from the steps, stomping on the man's glasses and fleeing down the sidewalk.

The man suffered a small cut to his nose from the surprise smack, cops said.

Police described the perp as a medium-built man in his 50s, standing at around 5-foot-10. He was last seen wearing black boots, dark jeans and a grey hoodie.
