QUEENS, NY -- Make sure to check with your airline if you're planning to fly out of New York City on Wednesday - A flurry of flights were cancelled at John F. Kennedy and LaGuardia airports.

More than 100 flights were cancelled at LaGuardia and nearly another 100 were scrapped at JFK on Wednesday morning "due to forecast weather," according to alerts from the airports.
