Woman Steals Box Of Food From Ridgewood Apartment

The woman was caught on tape hauling the opened food delivery box down a nearby sidewalk.

RIDGEWOOD, QUEENS -- Police are searching for a woman who snuck into a Queens apartment building and walked off with a box of food meant for one of its residents.

The woman walked into the Wyckoff Avenue apartment building in Ridgewood through the front door at around 5 p.m. on April 27, police said.

She took a box of food items from Brandless - an online company that makes and sells food, personal care and home items for $3 each - and fled, cops said.

The NYPD released surveillance photos on Tuesday evening of the woman walking down a nearby sidewalk with the opened box of foods. She was last seen wearing a black baseball cap emblazoned with the word "BOSS," a black sweatshirt and dark pants.
