Bands On The Bricks Lineup Announced

From the City of Rochester: One of Rochester's most popular FREE concert series, Bands on the Bricks brings the City of Rochester Public Market to the evening set with national-act and local live music on five consecutive Friday nights in July and August. Food and drink vendors will be on hand to provide the sustenance you need to dance the evening away!

July 12- Something Else and Junkyardfieldtrip
Something Else is a cover band dedicated to providing a fun experience at every show. They are a trio that packs a surprising punch. Fueled by powerful vocals and a knack for imitation so great, fans feel like they are listening to the real thing. Something Else truly has something for everyone!

Junkyardfieldtrip has quickly become one of the region's most in-demand, eclectic bands, and was a finalist for City Newspaper's Best of Rochester award for best local band. In the summer of 2017, the band played the prestigious Fairport Music Festival. In March 2018, the band signed with Spectra Records and is touring to support the record.

July 26: Into the Now & Dinner and a Movie: Phish Tribute
Into the Now plays the best of the Grateful Dead, the Rolling Stones, the Doors, and more.
Dinner And a Movie brings the live Phish Experience. With tunes from all eras and a serious ability to jam, this all-star lineup from Syracuse channels the spirit of the boys from Vermont.

August 2: American RUSH Tribute LOTUS LAND and Bonfire: A Tribute to AC/DC

August 9: Donna the Buffalo
Donna the Buffalo offers everything you want in a roots band—songs that matter, a groove that makes you dance, an audience that spans generations, and a musical voice that evokes a sense of community. DTB is not just a band, rather one might say that they have become a lifestyle for its members and audiences. The band has played thousands of shows and countless festivals including Bonnaroo, Newport Folk Festival, Telluride, Austin City Limits, and Philadelphia Folk Festival. The band founded the famous Grassroots Festival in Trumansburg, New York, in 1991.
Rules, Regulations and Tips for Attendees
- Shows start at 6 p.m., gates open 5:30 p.m.
- No shoes, no shirts, no entry.
- All bags are subject to search.
- No smoking under vendor sheds, or close enough to the sheds that smoke can get underneath.
- No pets.
- No bicycles inside the event gates (but we encourage you to ride your bike to the events).
- No skateboards or in-line skates.
- Attendees can bring in one sealed bottle of water per person (no other food or beverages).
- No drones.
- Seating is limited so consider a folding chair!
