Centers' Western & Central NY Locations Get In On the Family Fun

More Than 1,700 Centers Health Care Staffers and Family Members Enjoy Six Flags Darien Lake

by Jeff Jacomowitz

The weather was gorgeous on July 29 at Darien Lake Theme Park Resort in Darien Center as more than 1,700 Centers Health Care employees with their families enjoyed the day filled with rides and the food as Centers' leadership, once again, said thank you for your continued hard work. Staffers and their families from seven facilities, coming from as far west as Buffalo, south from Corning and Bath, and across the state from Carthage where the Carthage Center is located (a town ten minutes from Watertown), embarked on the day and it couldn't have been better.

"People who work in industries and companies outside of post-acute care, don't know how hard these folks work," says Kenny Rozenberg, CEO of Centers Health Care. "It's a tough job and you have to care about your residents in order to succeed. My employees are special people so I want to say thank you to them and their families. They deserve this."

Centers Health Care, with 45 locations throughout New York State, Southern New Jersey, Rhose Island and in the Kansas City region, has been treating their employees of the past number of years to these all-day summer outing at various Six Flags Entertainment locations, such as at the Great Escape in Queenbury, NY and at Six Flags New England, near Springfield, MA. As with the other Family Fun outings, these locations are generally central to where the company has their facilities. While Centers Health Care's Ontario Center in Canandaigua is only a little over an hour drive, the theme park is only 45 minutes from the company's two Buffalo facilities. Even with that said, employees and families came even further from Bath, Corning, Syracuse and the Watertown area, making it a fun weekend excursion.
