Department Of Recreation And Youth Service Cancels Biz Kid$ Camp Scheduled For April 6 – 10

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Department of Recreation and Youth Service (DRYS) has cancelled the Biz Kid$ camp that was scheduled to take place from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. during Spring Break week, April 6 – 10, at the DRYS offices located at 57 St. Paul St.Biz Kid$ is a free, week-long camp held four times a year that teaches youth ages 10 – 18 how to start their own businesses. Biz Kid$ camps lay the foundation of entrepreneurial know-how and include meals, prizes and business supplies. Students also present their business ideas to a panel of judges and are awarded cash and other prizes at a graduation ceremony.
