Mayor Lovely Warren Authorizes Distribution Of PPE At R-Center Meal Distribution Sites
PPE kits include hand sanitizer and masks and will be distributed during regular meal distribution hours.
In an effort to stop the spread of coronavirus and keep residents safe amid rising COVID-19 rates in our region, Mayor Lovely Warren has authorized the distribution of PPE materials at the nine R-Centers currently serving as meal distribution sites throughout the city.
Beginning Tuesday, December 22, R-Center staff will begin distributing PPE kits along with meals. Each kit contains a 2-ounce bottle of hand sanitizer and three masks. City residents who are not seeking meals are also free to come to the R-Centers and request a PPE kit only. PPE kits will be limited to one per family, per day.

“I am committed to doing as much as I can to make sure our residents have the basic protection needed to keep themselves and their family members safe,” said Mayor Warren. “Our R-Centers are places that most people can get to very easily. I’m grateful we can use them to provide free PPE to those who are in need of these essential items. The fight against COVID-19 is very real and we must remain diligent in our efforts to contain it.”
PPE kits will be distributed at the following nine R-Center meal distribution sites:
