Most Trusted Housekeeper is Recognized at Steuben Center

Steuben Center, the 105-bed nursing and rehabilitation facility on Rumsey Street Extension in Bath, has announced that Ms. Tina Howard is the facility’s Employee of the Month for February 2021. Ms. Howard is the Lamoka Unit Housekeeper, one of the very important areas in the building that needs perfection in housekeeping during the age of COVID-19. Lamoka is the rehabilitation unit, and it is also where all new admissions go for isolation. Howard spends most of her time in this unit making sure it is kept up to standards and more it is sanitized, cleaned, keeps in top of stocking supplies, and she does room changes.

“This is so very well-deserved,” said Fatima Overstreet, Recreation Director at Steuben Center. “We love our front line workers, they are all heroes, but the work Tina and her fellow housekeepers do are equally heroic, especially during COVID. Thank you from all of us at Steuben Center and in Bath, New York.”

This July, Tina will celebrate seven years at Steuben Center and she is from the town of Bath. When she’s not doing perfection at Steuben Center spends time with her husband Ron and her seven children, five of which who are adopted. Tina Howard is an animal lover and she loves her country music.
