Rochester City Facilities To Close Or Adjust Hours For Christmas Holidays
Meal distribution sites to close; children encouraged to pick up extra meals Wednesday.
City facilities and services will be closed or working under adjusted schedules on Thursday and Friday in observance of the Christmas holidays.Rochester City Hall, Neighborhood Service Centers, administrative offices and library branches will be closed Thursday and Friday.
The R-Centers that host pandemic-related meal distribution sites will also be closed Thursday and Friday. Children are encouraged to pick up extra meals today and Wednesday.Refuse and recycling collection will maintain its normal schedule through Thursday. Friday’s collections will be delayed to Saturday.The 311 Call Center and Rochester Animal Services will be open Thursday and closed Friday. City branch libraries, which are currently limited to curbside services, will return to their adjusted pandemic schedules Monday.

In keeping with their original schedule, the City’s Asymptomatic Covid-19 Testing sites will be closed Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Testing will resume Monday.
The City of Rochester Public Market will maintain its normal Market Day schedule Thursday.
