Rochester Motorists Asked To Use Caution During Tuesday's Snow Storm

Motorists must adhere to alternate side-parking regulations so plow operations can effectively clear the roads of snow.

The City is reminding motorists to slow down, use caution and leave extra time for morning and evening commutes Tuesday and Wednesday in response to the Winter Weather Advisory issued by the National Weather Service.

“Plan on snow covered and slippery road conditions with reduced visibility from 4 a.m., Tuesday to 4 a.m., Wednesday,” the advisory states. The expected snow accumulation during this time period is 4 to 6 inches.

Motorists must adhere to alternate side-parking regulations so plow operations can effectively clear the roads of snow. Citizens can track City snow plows in real time by visiting: cityofrochester.gov/plowtrax.
