Rochester Police Shoot 2 Suspects While Serving Search Warrant

ROCHESTER, NY — Rochester police serving a search warrant on the city's north side reportedly shot two suspects when gunfire erupted. Multiple law enforcement agencies had been trying to search a home on Burbank street around 11:30 a.m. when shots rang out, police told reporters.

Two suspects inside the home were shot and taken to hospitals, police said. Their conditions weren't immediately known and their names weren't immediately released. No officers were hurt.

Details about the circumstances surrounding the shooting weren't immediately released.

Police are still trying to find out what law enforcement agencies responded.

Multiple streets were closed off and dozens of police officers reportedly responded to the scene.
