Steuben CTR Staff and Residents Spend a Heartfelt Easter Together
How Easter 2021 Demonstrated Spring Happiness Versus 2020

What a difference a year makes. Easter 2021 at Steuben Center on Rumsey Street Extension in Bath was a lot more cheerful and uplifting versus last year and rightfully so. This is a time of reopening, vaccinations and smiles on the faces of residents.

With all of this in the "new normal of 2021", the staff had the residents paint Easter eggs, do Easter bunny visits and eggs crafts, and there wasn’t an end of Easter bunny chocolates filling every floor. In fact, when the Easter Bunny showed up on the morning of Easter Sunday visiting each resident room and many of the meeting areas, residents knew that Easter was finally here.

“Our residents truly couldn’t wait until Easter,” said Fatima Overstreet, Recreation Director. “Over the past week prior to Easter Sunday, they couldn’t wait to eat the ears off the chocolate bunnies. It’s a tradition for everyone….more that the ham.”

The Steuben Center residents did have a filling Easter dinner and sweets for dessert.....and they did it all with the Easter bunny.
