13th Annual Miracle On Main Street: What You Need To Know

SAYVILLE, NY - The 13th annual Miracle on Main Street will be kicking off in Sayville this month. The event is set for Saturday, Nov.30.

The day will begin with a holiday parade starting at 10 a.m. Then from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. the Winter Wonderland will take place on Brown's Lot on Main Street. The wonderland will include trolley rides, an ice skating rink, face painting, sand art and carousel rides.

After that, the Miracle on Main Street event will take place from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Residents can enjoy live reindeer, Santa, a gingerbread bounce house, ice sculptures, a Lego display, Dickens characters, live music and dance performances.

The tree lighting will start at 6:30 p.m.

The gingerbread competition will also take place during the festivities.

Residents can register at the tent in front of the Starbucks on 59 Main Street until 4 p.m.

Judging will take place from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. and the winners will be named at 7:30 p.m. A first, second and third place winner will be announced. Entries will be on display until 9 p.m.

Rain date for the event is Dec. 1.
