2 Burglaries Reported Within Hours Of Each Other In Sayville

The incidents, which occurred about two miles from each other, were both reported earlier this week.

SAYVILLE, NY — Two burglaries were reported in Sayville within hours of each other last week, according to Suffolk Police. The first incident was reported Tuesday at 12:41 a.m. Several men entered an apartment on Lucille Drive and struck the male resident. They stole cash before fleeing.

The a few hours later at 2:24 a.m., a break-in was reported at a business on N. Main Street, less than two miles away. It was reported that someone broke the glass door of AT&T Wireless on 223 N. Main Street. The burglar or burglars entered and stole three iPhones.

No description of the burglaries in either incident was available.

No arrests have been made in connection to either burglaries. It is unknown if the two incidents are connected.
