OAKDALE, NY — A home was seriously damaged in an early morning blaze on Thursday.

The West Sayville Fire Department responded to the fire on Edgewood Avenue at about 1 a.m.

The massive fire caused the roof of the home to collapse, extensively damaging the home.

The Bohemia, Sayville, and Bayport Fire Departments all responded to assist as well as the Community Ambulance Company.

No serious injuries were reported.
