Blue Point's Kevin Foley Earns 400th Win as Suffolk County Community College Women's Basketball Coach

Foley will step down as coach after this season.

Suffolk County Community College Women’s Basketball Head Coach and Athletic Director Kevin Foley was honored by the College’s Board of Trustees on Feb. 19 for his milestone 400th career win leading the Sharks.

Foley, of Blue Point, is completing his 23rd year at the helm of Suffolk’s women’s team that has advanced to the playoffs in 20 consecutive years. Foley’s impressive record includes playing in 14 semifinals, winning six regional championships, and a national title.

Foley announced that he will step down as head coach of the women’s basketball team after this season, and continue as athletic director.

Foley was inducted into the Suffolk County Sports Hall of Fame in 1994 in honor of his outstanding basketball career.
