Bohemia resident Peter Grizzaffi has been named Chief Information Officer at Farmingdale State College.

Grizzaffi was most recently an Assistant Vice President and Global IT Officer at MetLife, where he developed and led a multiyear strategic transformation of the Global IT organization and its systems, across 45 countries and in seven languages, supporting 15 business functions.

“I love a challenge,” says Grizzaffi, “and excel at positions that require broad technical expertise, and the ability to deliver critical change in fast-paced environments.

Grizzaffi earned a BS in Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University, and an MS in Information Technology at Hofstra University.
